BIT20 is very pleased to be taking part in the Borealis Listening Club, presenting a new commission from Austrian composer Peter Ablinger, which will be premiered at Borealis 2018. Performing alongside the ensemble in Ablinger’s REMOVE TERMINATE EXIT is Norwegian experimental guitar hero Stian Westerhus and the legendary South West German radio Experimentalstudio, birth place of electronic music works by composers such as Luigi Nono, Karlheinz Stockhausen and Vinko Globokar. For this Borealis Listening Club event, Ablinger and Westerhus will be talking about the process of putting this new piece together, and you’ll also have the opportunity to hear Stian play extracts from the work.
