Do you make music?

At Glimt! - Skape you compose a three minute long piece for the viola, oboe and horn. You receive follow-up and guidance from BIT20's composition mentors. And the whole project is free!

Whether you are already writing sheet music or graphic score, or would like to try for the first time, you can join us to create music for the BIT20 Ensemble. This season, we have three of our musicians at your disposal so that your musical ideas can see the light of day.

At Glimt! the process consists of two meetings during the fall, and a dedicated mentor for your best possible result. Torstein Aagaard-Nilsen is an experienced educator and composer, and has written everything from orchestral works to the Norwegian Musical Orchestra's anniversary work for "as many marching bands as possible".

Throughout the fall, you will hear your work played by the trio, and receive feedback from a mentor. It all culminates in a public concert where your and the other participants' pieces are performed.
