Portrait concert with Anna Berg
Hear excerpts from the “Funeral Trilogy” by composer Anna Berg when she visits Siljustøl together with musicians from BIT20 Ensemble.
Anna Berg composed music for the critically acclaimed film “Dreams” by director Dag Johan Haugerud and is Kode’s composer-in-residence for 2025.
She brings string compositions to Harald Sæverud’s composer home at Siljustøl, exploring Vietnamese and Buddhist rituals related to death through her music.
In addition to the “Funeral Trilogy”, the concert features standalone works such as Abrasion II and Remnants of Confetti Unexploded.
Between the pieces, Anna Berg shares her reflections on her music in conversation with Johannes Holtmon, music curator at Kode.
