Mini-Festival!

BIT20 Ensemble is back with a new mini-festival – this time at NRK’s former premises at Wergeland Kulturarena.

Last year’s mini-festival filled Marinehagen with a wonderful audience, great food, and music that surprised us, delighted us, and made us laugh out loud. Now we’re doing it all over again – only differently.

Come feast your senses and enjoy a delicious dinner as the ever-charismatic Bjarni Frímann takes you on a musical journey featuring more than twenty world premieres, performed live by BIT20 Ensemble.

We’re also celebrating the birthday of Avgarde, who will be joining us for the festivities – along with a few more guests we’re not quite ready to reveal just yet…

To celebrate Avgarde’s 20th anniversary, they have invited composers to write musical birthday cards in the form of two-minute miniatures. These will be performed by BIT20 Ensemble at Trerettars på Wergeland.

We will also hear a new work by Eva Pfitzenmaier and Sigurd Fischer Olsen!
